"Bugum" ("Fire" in Moore, my native language)

I made this sculpture in relation to "The Chronicles of a Warrior,” which is my father's unfinished tale about a great warrior who walked the earth seeking the ultimate wisdom. A flying creature, that spits fire crossed his way, and helped him succeed. Yet the warrior couldn't turn his back to it because he never trusted it. The creature had wings that came out when they needed to fly and a tail that would wipe out a dozen of enemies.

2 additional sculptures are based on “The Chronicles of a Warrior,” and both won first place at different contests: "The Lost Battle" (Lake Elmo Center for the Arts) and "The Chronicles of a Warrior" (American Iron Sculpture Contest).
